Two injured in Ukrainian attack on Shebekino in Russia's Belgorod region - authorities

BELGOROD. May 30 (Interfax) - Ukrainian forces have attacked Shebekino in the Belgorod region, causing casualties, the region's governor Vyacheslav Gladkov said on Friday.

"Two people injured in the attack came to the Shebekino Central District Hospital unaided. The man was diagnosed with a blast trauma and a tangential non-penetrating wound to the head, while the woman has a blast trauma and a blind shrapnel wound to the back. Both will be transferred to the regional clinical hospital for further treatment," Gladkov said on Telegram.

A private house and a car were damaged.

Gladkov said earlier on Friday that the Ukrainian strike on Shebekino injured two civilians, the men suffered shrapnel wounds and were hospitalized.
