Russian forces take control of Kondratovka in Sumy region (Part 2)

MOSCOW. June 4 (Interfax) - Russian forces have taken control of Kondratovka in the Sumy region, the Russian Defense Ministry said in a statement on Wednesday.

"As a result of active operations, units from the northern group of forces have taken control of Kondratovka in the Sumy region," it said.

Over the day, the northern group of forces hit concentrations of troops and hardware of two mechanized brigades, a tank brigade, an air assault brigade, a jaeger brigade, a costal defense brigade, an air assault brigade, and two assault regiments of the Ukrainian Armed Forces and a special ops center of the Ukrainian Defense Ministry's Main Intelligence Directorate near Iskrikovshchina, Petrushevka, Sadki, Yunakovka, Novaya Sech, Pisarevka, Khoten, Pavlovka and Veliky Prikol in the Sumy region, the ministry said.

"The Ukrainian Armed Forces lost over 230 troops, two tanks, three armored combat vehicles, nine vehicles and five artillery systems. A radar and two ammo depots were destroyed," it said.
