MOSCOW. June 16 (Interfax) - The Kremlin expects that the restrictions on flights amid the escalation of hostilities in the Middle East would not prevent guests from Arab countries to visit the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF), Russian presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov said.
"We hope this won't happen. As a rule, senior guests arrive on special flights. And yet there's a reality in which all of us live, and therefore, we'll see how the situation develops," Peskov told journalists on Monday. He was asked by Interfax whether the restrictions on flights amid the deterioration of the situation in the Middle East would affect the presence of Arab guests at the SPIEF and the Russian president's contacts on its sidelines.
