ASTANA. June 16 (Interfax) - Twenty-four intergovernmental and interagency documents were signed following the talks between Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and Chinese President Xi Jinping in Astana, the Kazakh leader's press service said.
"Members of the two countries' delegations exchanged documents that embrace cooperation in the spheres of energy, aerospace industry, digitalization, customs regulation, agriculture, e-commerce, tourism, intellectual property, medicine, media, science and interregional communications," the press service said in a statement.
Besides, agreements and encouraging and mutual protection of investment and on technical and economic cooperation were signed on the intergovernmental level.
Tokayev and Xi Jinping had talks in the Kazakh president's residence earlier. The Chinese president arrived in Astana on Monday at the invitation of the Kazakh leader. He will attend the second China - Central Asia summit on Tuesday.
