MOSCOW. June 17 (Interfax) - Moscow is familiar with the statements of U.S. and Israeli leaders urging the Tehran population to evacuate and regarding the possible elimination of Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, and calls on the parties to the Iranian-Israeli conflict to show restraint, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said.
"This is a disquieting situation, of course, we have seen and heard those statements and, for now, the situation is headed towards further galloping escalation and is absolutely unpredictable," Peskov said, as he commented on the Iranian-Israeli conflict at reporters' request.
"Indeed, we are urging the parties to show utmost restraint in order to eventually shift to the peaceful political, diplomatic settlement track one way or another," he said.
