MOSCOW. June 17 (Interfax) - Enterprises of the Rostec state corporation have ramped up production of military hardware tens of times since 2021, Rostec head Sergei Chemezov said.

"As to state defense orders, our enterprises are manufacturing 80% of all weapon systems used in the special military operation. Production of new lightly armored vehicles and tanks has grown 1.1 times, versus 1.3-times increase in production of tube artillery ammunition, 2.1-times increase in production of ammunition for lightly armored vehicles and tanks, and 1.7-times increase in production of ammunition for multiple rocket launchers," Chemezov said at a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

These indicators "are for one year only, while our production has grown tens of times since 2021," Chemezov said.

On the whole, the state defense orders are being fulfilled at a traditionally high level of 99.5%, including 100% for critical products, he said.
