Twitch, TikTok, Pinterest fined 7 mln rubles each for repeat breach of Russian laws

MOSCOW. July 8 (Interfax) - Moscow's Tagansky District Court has found Twitch, TikTok and Pinterest in repeat violation of Russian laws, the court press service said on Tuesday.

"A 7-million-ruble administrative fine has been imposed on each company," the press service said.

All of them were found guilty of the repeat failure of a social network owner to conduct mandatory monitoring and restrict access to prohibited information.

The services have repeatedly faced administrative liability over the refusal to remove information banned in Russia and other violations of law.
