MOSCOW. July 8 (Interfax) - Moscow's Tagansky District Court has found Wikimedia in violation of Russian laws.
"A judge imposed a 3.5-million-ruble administrative fine on Wikimedia Foundation, Inc.," the court press service said.
Wikimedia was found guilty of not removing content banned in Russia.
Wikimedia has been repeatedly held administratively liable over the refusal to remove information prohibited in Russia, including propaganda of drugs and methods of suicide, as well as fake information about the Russian special military operation in Ukraine.
