MOSCOW. July 8 (Interfax) - Assets of listed terrorists and extremists totaling 245 million rubles were immobilized in Russia last year, materials of the Federal Financial Monitoring Service prepared for a meeting of the service director with the Russian president said.
According to the materials, 3,165 individuals and 80 entities were added to the list of known extremists or terrorists in 2024.
"Assets of the listed parties totaling 245 million rubles were immobilized," it said.
The interagency commission countering financing of terrorism blocked financial assets of about 1,500 people, in particular, at the request of foreign states, last year.
As of December 31, 2024, more than 16,000 individuals and over 800 organizations were on the list.
