Russia to create satellite group of more than 300 spacecraft for first time - Roscosmos head

MOSCOW. July 9 (Interfax) - Russia is launching serial production of satellites, one of the operators will create a group comprising over 300 spacecraft, Roscosmos head Dmitry Bakanov said.

"Russia has the corresponding technologies. One of the operators is deploying a group of more than 300 spacecraft. The first serial launch will be at the end of this year," Bakanov said at a meeting with Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin on Wednesday.

"The Russian Federation has never created groups of more than 300 spacecraft before," he said.
