MOSCOW. July 9 (Interfax) - Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin has tasked Roscosmos head Dmitry Bakanov and the Finance Ministry with raising the economic efficiency of space industry enterprises and envisaging the possibility of private business' involvement in production chains.
"I am asking you to increase the economic efficiency and financial stability of industry enterprises and to consider the possible involvement of private businesses in production chains," Mishustin said at a meeting with Bakanov on Wednesday.
That must be done together with the Finance Ministry in order "to bolster the competitive edge and to draw off-budget funding," considering the keen interest of private businesses in space technologies, he said.
