Competitive projects must be taken into account in Roscosmos development strategy - Russian PM

MOSCOW. July 9 (Interfax) - The Roscosmos development strategy must take into account competitive projects of other countries, Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin said.

"While updating the Roscosmos development strategy we clearly must analyze solutions of our competitors. As you have said, a number of countries are making space research," Mishustin said at a meeting with Roscosmos head Dmitry Bakanov on Wednesday.

It is crucial "to take a close look at the available solutions and use Russian-made software as much as possible," including heavy software, CAD systems and life cycle systems," he said.

"It will be very good if all that is implemented by Russian systems," Mishustin said.
