MOSCOW, September 21 (AVN) -- The interdepartamental commssion for information security under the Russian presidential Security Council on Tuesday approved the draft concept of implementation of the international information security idea, First Deputy Secretary of the Security Council Vladislav Sherstyuk, who chairs the commission, said.
The idea basically aims to prohibit development of information weapons and their distribution on the global market, Sherstyuk said. During the Tuesday session, the commission discussed legal mechanisms regulating electronic digital subscription in information systems, he added.
