PUTIN TO SHARE ANTI-TERRORIST EXPERIENCE WITH CIS SECURITY CHIEFS

MOSCOW, September 27 (AVN) -- Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin is expected to attend the sixth session of a CIS security chiefs council, which will take place in St. Petersburg on Tuesday and Friday, and make a speech on issues related to combatting terrorism, a source in the Russian government told the Military News Agency on Monday.

Though Putin was appointed prime minister yet in early August, he continued to head the council, where he was elected while still being head of the Russian Federal Security Service (FSB), main successor to the Soviet-era KGB. Howver the council will discuss, among other issues, election of its new chairman, the source said.
