MOSCOW, September 29 (AVN) -- Federal aviation on Wednesday destroyed two guerilla depots in Chechnya, the Military News Agency learned in the Air Force Staff Operative Department.
The depots contained arms and ammunition sufficient to equip more than 30,000 soldiers, a spokesman for the department said.
Federal aviation accomplished 12 combat missions and about 20 more to conduct weather reconnaissance and aerophotography of guerilla bases and strongpoints in the past 24 hours, the spokesman continued. They mined more 15 kilometres of mountain pathways and passes and destroyed 10 minor oil refineries, he added.
