MOSCOW, October 19 (AVN) -- President Boris Yeltsin has signed a decree "Concerning the Right for Deferment from Military Service for Selected Categories of Citizens," the Military News Agency learned on Tuesday.
Under this order, several thousand graduates from higher educational establishments will be eligible for determent in case they are employed by the Foreign Ministry (up to 450 persons), prosecutor's offices (up to 2,000 persons), the Sistema legal information centre under the Federal Agency for Government Communication and Information (up to 10 persons) and the Energia missile and space coropration.
