KIEV, October 29 (AVN) -- The board of directors of the Bronetekhnika Ukrainy company has decided to produce 10 T-80 tanks at the Malyshev plant and finance the works out of its own funds, the company's head, Grigory Malyuk, said on Friday.
The company has not yet found a buyer for these tanks, Malyuk told the Military News Agency. The decision to produce them was taken to keep the plant's working pace and hold to the production cycle established during the implementation of the Pakistani order, he added.
The Malyshev plant has shipped the last lot of tanks to Pankistan this week and has no more orders, Malyuk said.
