RUSSIAN EMERGENCY MINISTER TO INSPECT CHECHEN REFUGEE CAMPS

MOSCOW, November 1 (AVN) -- Russian Emergency Minister Sergei Shoigu will make a visit to the North Caucaus from November 8 to 13, a ministry spokesman said on Monday.

The minister will take a closer look at the situation in Chechen refugee camps, check the performance of their outposts, see what they need to get through the winter and define the necessary amount of humanitarian aid, the spokesman told the Military News Agency..

Shoigu will also visit the Dagestani town of Buinaksk and the town of Volgodonsk in the southern Russian Rostov region to take a look at accomodation and provision of assistance to citizens affected by recent apartment blasts, the spokesman added.
