VLADIVOSTOK, November 3 (AVN) - Pacific Fleet Commander Mikhail Zakharenko and Primorsky territory governor Yevgeny Nazdratenko visited Bamburovo testing ground 200 kilometres far from Vladivostok to watch exercise of the marine battalion that prepares to leave for Chechnya.
The Military News Agency learned from the Pacific Fleet Staff that during the exercise military men were allowed to use the battle cartridges (before now that was strictly forbidden).
After the exercise Nazdratenko handled battalion commander lieutenant-colonel Vladimir Chepchugov several sets of radio direction-finders. In the nearest future the battalion is to receive mini radio stations of Super class. Local authorities have already paid for them.
