RUSSIA'S EMERGENCY MINISTER PARTICIPATES IN EMERGENCY EXERCISE

NOVOSIBIRSK, November 3 (AVN) - Exercise dedicated to liquidating the consequences of the terrorist act on the radiation object finished at Novosibirsk chemical concentrates plant.

248 men and 39 pieces of technical means including three helicopters participated in the exercise.

Russian Emergency Minister Sergey Shoigu watched the exercise and highly estimated the actions of the participants.

Emergency Ministry now widely uses helicopters that are very convenient for emergency in megapolises, Shoigu said.

Emergency Minister's visit to Siberia is very short; in the nearest future he is expected to go on a Russian PM's errand to the North Caucasus.
