MIG-29 CRASHES BECAUSE OF CONTROL SYSTEM PROBLEM

MOSCOW, November 3 (AVN) - The MIG-29 attack plane piloted by lieutenant-colonel Avramenko crashed in Moscow's Kubinka because of the control system, Russian Air Forces Chief commander Anatoly Kornukov told the Military News Agency.

The system refused to work when the plane was landing and fell into big angles of attack; pilot lieutenant-colonel Avramenko did not manage to go out of this manoeuvre, but could catapult three meters from the land, Kornurov added.

A special commission is to investigate the incident and make final conclusions.
