A source in the General Staff told the Military News Agency that by December the regiment is to be fully manned and trained for missions in the mountainous areas.
A flaming gun battalion of the Kineshma chemical defence brigade is to start for Chechnya very soon. The detachment is two third manned by volunteers-contractors and is now trained in a special testing ground near Moscow's Noginsk.
The battalion can be used for Grozny assault if necessary, a Military News Agency's source says.
