KAZAN, November 5 (AVN) - Tatarstan's government is going to find 400 million roubles (approximately 16 million U.S. dollars) for leasing operations with the Tu-214 new plane.
Anvar Karimov, First Deputy Economy Minister told the Military News Agency that nowadays the government thinks of purchasing and transferring to leasing two Tu-214 for Tatarstan air company.
Some other air companies (including the Siberia one from Novosibirsk) are also interested in new plane, but those ones who can pay cash at leas some of the sum will be the priority, Karimov said.
Tu-214 is offered for 25-30 million U.S. dollars depending on configuration.
Nowadays Tu-214 is tasted in United Arab Emirates. In December it is to leave for Iran to be used in the mountainous airdromes.
One modification of Tu-214 is designed specially for Navy aviation in accordance with the Defence Ministry's order.
