MOSCOW, November 15 (AVN) -- Federal aviation has inflicted over 350 strikes on guerrilla obects and manpower in Chechnya since Saturday, a spokesman for the Air Force Staff told the Military News Agency.
According to him, planes and helicopters eliminated up to 500 guerrillas, 15 strongpoints, five command posts, about 35 vehicles, three air defence systems, a satellite communication centre and two oil processing plants.
Aviation also transported 600 servicemen, five vehicles and 18 tons of cargo in the interests of federal forces, the spokesman added.
