MOSCOW, November 29 (AVN) - The chief military prosecutor's office on Monday protested a decision of the Moscow garrison court concerning Colonel-General Anton Terentyev, former deputy commander of the Russian ground troops, an office spokesman told the Military News Agency.
Terentyev was accused of swindling and abuse of power, the spokesman said. According to the investigation, the general illegally obtained three-room apartments in the cities of Ulan-Ude, Tver and Moscow by submitting incorrect information about his family members. However the Moscow court did not find elements essential to the offense in his actions and acquitted the general.
Prosecutors demand revision of the case in the Moscow military district court, the spokesman said.
