ST. PETERSBUTG SHIP BUILDERS TO PRODUCE NOTHING FOR RUSSIAN NAVY

ST. PETERSBUTG, December 1 (AVN) - Keels for no ship or submarine for Russian navy under the state defence order will be laid at St. Petersburg ship-building enterprises in 2000, a source in the major administration told the Military News Agency.

The Baltic ship-repair plant is making three frigates for Indian Navy, the Admitalteyskiye verfi is busy with the Amur submarine (also for Indian Navy). The Severnaya verf joint stock company is making 956 destroyers for China.

Only the Srednenevsky plant is finishing the Molnia missile boat and a sea sweep vessel for Russian Navy.
