MOSCOW, December 1 (AVN) - The Il-76 transport plane has come from Iran to Vladikavkaz (North Ossetia) on Wednesday with a 40 ton humanitarian load for Chechens refugees.
About a month after the North Caucasus conflict escalation Beslan airport in Vladikavkaz did not receive international flights. The airport was opened by the government special decision only for international flights with humanitarian help.
Makhachkala airport (Dagestan) is a reserved one in case of bad weather conditions.
A group from the Emergency Ministry lead by deputy minister Sergey Khetagurov co-ordinates the received help.
On Thursday Emergency Ministry flight is to transport 35 doctors of the Zaschita (Defence) all-Russian catastrophe medicine centre, 15 ton medical equipment and two Gazel medical vans from Moscow to Ordzhonikidzevskaya station in Ingushetia.
