MOSCOW, December 1 (AVN) - Minsk tow car plant have designed new KN-7930 wheel car frame.
Russian Defence Ministry tested it and admitted successful.
The plant's chief designer, USSR state prizeman academitian Vladimir Chvyalev told the Military News Agency that that the state commission recommends KN-7930 for mass production and army usage.
The machine was tested at the hot sand of the Kapustin Yar testing ground.
The tow car successfully passed 30000 kilometres.
Then the machine was tested in a minus 50°C camera and aerodynamic tube for nuclear explosions.
The final conclusion is that the wheel car frame is unique and can be used for different combat technique.
It can improve the Smerch and Uragan anti-aerial systems, S-300 Missile complex and new ZRK S-400 which is under the tests nowadays.
Engineer troop specialists are intended to use this machine for transporting heavy mechanized bridge.
