700 companies from 44 countries participate in it.
90 firms from 23 countries take part in the navy section.
Rosvooruzheniye state company represents Russia at the show.
After the official beginning Malaysia government representatives watched demo flights of the combat planes.
MIG-29 piloted by Malaysian officers were the first in the sky.
Malaysia purchased these aircraft from Russia several years ago. The planes participated in some shows and according to Malaysuan pilots are of good fly and exploitation quality.
Russian Su-30K and Su-30KI also participated in demo flights.
