MOSCOW, December 2 (AVN) -- Prime Minister Vladimir Putin has signed resolution 1310 on ways of using weapon and military technique while defending Russian subaquatic borders.
In accordance with the document Russian navy, namely special coastal hydroacoustic detachments are responsible for defending subaquatic borders.
In recent years Navy badly lacked financing and thus had some problems which the commanders are now trying to settle.
Once or twice a year navy has special search operations to find submarine and ships infractors in 12-mile zone.
Previously the way of using objective control and subaquatic watch means the same as actions during capturing infractors was listed in departmental instructions. Nowadays the government itself regulates all these things.
The government also determined that servicemen breaking resolution 1310 are answerable in accordance with Russian laws.
