MALAYSIA TO PRODUCE RUSSIAN IGLA MISSILE COMPLEXES

LANGKAVI, December 2 (AVN) - At the fifth International Military and Aerospace show LIMA-99 that is taking place in Malaysia Russian Rosvooruzheniye state company and car-building design bureau (Moscow's Kolomna) and Malaysian Penang ship-building corporation has just signed a memorandum on Russian Igla handed missile complexes licensed mass production in the show host country and promoting the product on South-east Asia markets.

Malaysia's Prime Minister Makhatkir Mokhamad participated in the ceremony.

At LIMA-99 Russia presents Igla with new Dzhigit-M launcher.

The complex can automatically find missile target and distinguish its origin.
