MOSCOW, December 7 (AVN) -- Customs officials in Moscow's Domodedovo airport seized a huge lot of heroin on Monday, Sergei Lysenko, spokesman for the State Customs Committee, told the Military News Agency.
The drug was spotted in the luggage of a man who arrived in Moscow from Dushanbe, Lysenko said. He packed 10,356 kg of heroin in air balls and hid them in two partially emptied watermelons.
Russian customs officials have seized over 300 kilograms of heroin this year.
