MURMANSK, December 7 (AVN) - Another local police detachment has left for the North Caucasus, a spokesman for the Murmansk regional police headquarters said on Tuesday.
The 100-strong detachment comprises officers of the Murmansk elite police unit and the regional patrol service, the spokesman told the Military News Agency. They underwent a two-week training course at a marine ground of the Northern fleet located in the village of Sputnik.
The policemen will form part of the eastern federal group under command of Lieutenant-General Gennady Troshev. Their North Caucasian trip will last about two months.
