MOSCOW, December 9 (AVN) - The personnel of Russian nuclear fuel depots will be subject to a polygraph examination staring from the second half of 2000, a spokesman for the radioactive security office of the Navy chief technical department said on Thursday.
The office is currently using a special method of selection and psychological testing to see whether nuclear depot workers are suitable for the job, the spokesman told the Military News Agency. However additional examinations have become necessary due to enforcement of security measures in keeping and handling military radioactive materials and the increasing demands to personnel of the depots.
The office is planning to use domestic polygraphs in the examinations, the spokesman said.
