MOSCOW, December 15 (AVN) - Moscow calorifics institute that is the main designer of the Topol-M missile complexes fulfilled the defence order of 1999, Yury Solomonov, its general designer told the Military News Agency.
Second regiment of the inter-continental missile complexes Topol-M has started its experimental combat patrol duty on December 10. Moscow calorifics institute assisted it a lot and set up all ten complexes on time despite the fact that the state supplied the defence order with only 70 per cent financing.
In 2000 the institute planes to equip the third regiment (ten launchers) and make it ready for experimental combat patrol duty and thus to supply the whole Tatischev division with new weapon.
The first Topol regiment started its service on December 30, 1998.
