NIZHNY NOVGOROD, December 16 (AVN) - The local Krasnoye Sormovo shipyard increased the volume of production 10 times in the first 11 months of this year, the statistics committee of the Nizhny Novgorod regional administration said on Thursday.
The achievement is the highest in the region, the committee said in a report.
The yard earlier specialised in production of multi-purpose nuclear submarines, as well as diesel-electric submarines of the Warshawianka class. At present, it only produces civilian ships.
