GUDERMES TO ORGANISE RAILWAY TOWN FOR FORCED MIGRANTS

MOSCOW, December 22 (AVN) - A railway town for forced migrants is to be organised in the biggest Chechen station of Gudermes in several days, the Military News Agency learned from the Emergency Ministry.

About 2000 Chechens who still have no opportunity to return home will be housed in the town.

Gorkovskaya railway (Nizhny Novgorod) is to send to Gudermes 20 carriages, while Sverdlovskaya 15, West-Siberian 30 and Trans-Baikal one 25.

Besides 36 carriages with 859 refugees have come to Sernovodsk that is now freed from guerrillas from the Ordzhonikidsevskaya station in Ingushetia.

In accordance with the Emergency Ministry data over 56,000 forced migrants have already returned to Chechnya from other Russian regions.
