VLADIVOSTOK, December 30 (AVN) - Zvezda plant that specialises on repairing and utilisation of Pacific Fleet nuclear submarines opened 400 new working places in 1999, Vladimir Maslov, director of the enterprise, told the Military News Agency.
The plant also produces civil ships.
At present shipbuilders are working on small seine-net fishing vessel.
Several civil orders that the plant undertakes in the next millennium will demand 500 more working places.
