SABOTAGE PREVENTED AT RAILWAY STATION IN CHECHNYA

MOSCOW, January 5 (AVN) -- The threats of the militants to switch to full-scale guerrilla warfare are taken seriously by the unified federal group command, a source in the group's headquarters told the Military news Agency.

Measures taken for enforcing the security of some of the important installations have already proven themselves useful.

On Tuesday law enforcement officers managed to prevent a sabotage at Chervlenaya railway station. An F-1 hand grenade was been wired under one of the wagons of a 17-oil tank cars train. Another grenade was wired to the wagon with projectiles.
