MOSCOW, January 5 (AVN) - Ukraine will participate in T-95 tanks modernisation, Kharkov's Morozov design bureau chief Lieutenant-General Mikhail Borisuk told the Military News Agency.
The tank is based on T-55 Soviet model.
Morozov design bureau and Malishev plant state enterprise have worked out the technology for the tanks modernisation.
Ukraine will supply engines, transmissions, and other spare parts.
Tank diesels are considered to be the best for such hot countries as Pakistan. 300 T-80UD tanks that have already been sold to the country by Malishev plant proved that fact.
Ukrainians have worked out several schemes of soviet tanks modernisation; they all base on changing engines, transmissions and fire management systems.
