ST.PETERSBURG, January 12 (AVN) - Gidropribor and Morfispribor scientific and research institutes continue designing new mobile complex for Navy bases water area defence, the Military News Agency learned.
The complex will allow to spot both aqualungers and means of their delivery with hydroacoustic devices, Gidropribor administration told the Military News Agency.
Sea-bed and boom sensing elements together with data handling system comprise the complex.
Stationary means together with anti-submarine weapons will be used against the raiders.
The new complex is to defend the area of four to five square kilometres.
