RUSSIAN AIR FORCE TO MODERNISE REMOTE COMBAT CONTROL SYSTEMS

MOSCOW, January 14 (AVN) - Four modernised remote combat control systems have just completed state tests, the Military News Agency learned from the 107th project and design department for Air Force automation.

Since 1981 the air force is equipped with the Agra remote combat control system. At present all Air Force detachments from regiments to Central Command Point are equipped with this system. It is planned to replace it.

Besides in the past two months the department specialists created special computer programmes which will process flight and cargo-transportation orders. Recently the software was installed to the Air Force Central Command Point and the eighth special aviation division command point's computer networks.
