RUSSIA AND GEORGIA TO CO-OPERATE IN ANTI-TERRORIST SPHERE

TBILISI, February 2 (AVN) - Federal Security Service (FSB) First Deputy Director Vladimir Pronichev came to Tbilisi on Wednesday to discuss anti-terrorist and anti-mafia co-operation with representatives of Georgia's State Security Ministry, the Military News Agency learned from the press service of Georgia's State Security Ministry.

It is supposed that Georgia's State Minister Vazha Lordkipanidze will meet with Russian delegation.

Georgia's specialists think that representatives of Russian law-enforcement bodies will speak with their colleagues about Chechnya and about the incident with the Russian military base in Vaziani.

Russian FSB officers have often accused Georgia of ignoring the warnings connected with Chechen rebels' activity in Georgia.

Georgia in its turn have always tried to assure Russia of housing neither guerrillas nor their bases.

At present it is clear that Russia is not satisfied with just words and wants to make certain of its CIS partner's loyalty.
