DEFENCE COMMITTEE CHAIRMAN TAKES INTEREST IN ECONOMIC LAWS

MOSCOW, February 2 (AVN) - The parliamentary Defence Committee plans to work on drafts of the laws "on servicemen trade unions", "on stationing, keeping and dismissing military detachments in the territory of Russian Federation", "on the basis of combat actions and other emergency situations participants' state rehabilitation."

The drafts on military reform and military organisations' legal basis and economic activity are excluded from the preliminary list.

Army General Andrey Nikolayev, the new chairman of the Committee is specially interested in economic laws, the Military News Agency learned. His initiative to make a separate law on exporting weapons and military equipment proves this fact.
