MOSCOW, February 7 (AVN) - Russian Chief-of-Staff Anatoly Kvashnin will leave for Chechnya on Tuesday, an official of Defence Minister Igor Sergeyev's administration told the Military News Agency.
Sergeyev has charged Kvashnin to take a look at the situation in the combat area and approve the plans of regrouping and transfer of a part of forces from Grozny to other areas, the official said.
Kvashnin will end his visit on Wednesday.
