MOSCOW, February 8 (AVN) - The parliamentary Security Committee is expected to have several sub-committees, Alexander Gurov, the committee chairman told the reporters in the Russian Information Centre.
The members of the security sub-committee will deal with intelligence and counterintelligence, border guard, and probably with information security.
The public security sub-committee is to deal with crimes.
Separate sub-committees will deal with economic security and international crimes.
The security committee consists of 20 members; more than 10 of them are professionals connected with the law-enforcement bodies.
The committee plans to present about 30 bills to the spring session of the parliament.
