RUSSIA TO DESIGN NEW MISSILE SYSTEMS

YEKATERINBURG, February 8 (AVN) - The Novator design bureau has worked out export samples of the Club-S missile systems for submarines and Club-N of those for ships, Pavel Kamnev, the general director of the bureau, told the Military News Agency.

The systems are presupposed for undersurface and surface targets, ground fixed and partly mobile targets under enemy's fire and electronic warfare.

The systems consist of 3M-54E (3M-54E1), 3M-14E, 91RE1 (91RE2) types of missiles.

3M-54E consists of a mother missile, a subsonic sustainer propulsion stage and a supersonic combat stage.

3M-54E1 presupposed for ships of small displacement and torpedo launcher consists of a mother missile, a subsonic sustainer propulsion stage.

3M-14E is presupposed for ground targets.

91RE1 and 91RE2 ballistic missiles are presupposed for shooting submarines.

The Club system has no analogues in the world.

The Military Parade magazine is to describe the Club-S and Club-N systems in its first issue.
