PETROPAVLOVSK-KAMCHATSKY, February 9 (AVN) - Kamchatka authorities decided to guard the most important economic isntallations more carefully in connection with the possible terrorist acts, the Military News Agency learned from the local interdepartmental anti-terrorist staff.
The enterprises that deal with chlorine and two steam plants received additional guards; policemen patrol places of people gathering; announcements in city transport call passengers to pay attention to suspicious objects; police detachments search for explosives.
Recently police found out that a 16-year-old boy kept two trotyl devices, four grenade fuses and 247 cartridges in a basement of an apartment block; the ammunition is extracted.
