MOSCOW, February 10 (AVN) -- The Russian Strategic Missile Forces (RSMF) Staff has summed up the results of the tenth test launch of the Topol-M intercontinental ballistic missile, a staff source told the Military News Agency.
The missile was launched from a silo at the Plesetsk spaceport on Wednesday.
According to the source, RSMF commander Vladimir Yakovlev personally supervised the launch from the central command point.
Yakovlev commended the professionalism of the squadron in charge of the launch and gave a high assessment of the test results. "The launch gave some very important study material for the designers of 21st century missile systems," he said.
