MOSCOW, February 11 (AVN) - In the past few months Chechnya's liberated districts have received 1,600t of flour, 500t of tinned meat, 127t of sugar, 300t of cereal, 40t of vegetable oil, over 150 lorries and cars, 800t of diesel fuel, 9,000t of coal, the Military News Agency learned from the Emergency Ministry.
It is expected to supply the republic with 20t of butter and 250 more lorries and tractors in the near future.
Mobile hospitals are being organised in Grozny and Tolstoy-Yurt at the moment.
Military transport planes deliver humanitarian aid to the republic together with the aviation of the Emergency Ministry.
In the past two months RUR23m (about USD900,000) were directed to Chechnya for pensions and social payments, RUR30m (about USD1m) for medicines and medical equipment, RUR15m (about USD500,000) for school text-books, RUR43m (about USD1,5m) for construction and agricultural machinery.
Russia's Pension fund directed to Chechnya RUR53m (about USD2m) for pensions on Thurday.
Military commandants and local administration heads are appointed responsible for distributing the money.
